Hello, friends!
I'm raising money to buy inventory for a retail space I've secured starting this spring. My goal is, as always, to get people reconnected to nature. I'm hopeful that a garden gift space will help to remind people of the powerful effects that nature can have on our brains and nervous systems. In a world of technology and surviving indoors, we've forgotten the benefits of nature and the delightful joys of incorporating it into our every day lives. Did you know that just the scent of soil can decrease feelings of anxiety and decrease stress hormones? Getting your hands dirty may have been the first natural stress reliever. Little Goose Garden's goal is to help people to cultivate the relationship between people and nature. I firmly believe that raising awareness and exposure to gardening activities is the first step to reaching this goal.
In the retail spaces, I plan to sell gardening and nature related gifts as well as therapeutic activities that aim to help process the big emotions that all humans deal with.
All funds raised will be put straight back into inventory and product creation to fill the mini shop. Any and all donations are helpful. It reminds me that there are people that believe in the power of nature and therapeutic benefits it holds. Thank you for being here for the journey. I appreciate you.
